The forces bearing down on European real estate are many and varied. Geopolitical risks, the wall of money, urbanisation, technology and disruption in the occupier markets all featured heavily in last year’s Emerging Trends Europe report. What has changed between then and now? The simple answer is Brexit, but the less obvious answers are revealed in the opinions gathered from just under 800 (a record number) of the industry’s senior leaders canvassed for this year’s report.
