The potential returns from student accommodation

ith 160 universities, more than 700 higher education colleges and around 2.5m students, no one can deny that the UK’s student market offers substantial scope for property investors.

In just the first five months of 2015 some £4.2bn has been invested in purpose-built UK student housing according to Savills, a figure larger than in any previous full year.
